MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!
I really liked and enjoyed this book. It was a very cute romance that had me hooked from the moment I started the book. Characters were very easy to fall in love with, I loved how strong Ivy was and wanted to do a lot for her self. I have a family member who has the medical condition she has so I liked that everything was pretty much on point and it shows that the author really checked into her condition. Really a great series, definitely can't wait to read more.

Reaper's Fire by Joanna Wylde Excerpt

New York Times bestselling author Joanna Wylde returns to the “wild and raw”* world of the Reapers MC with the story of Gage and Tinker…

The club comes first.
I’ve lived by those words my whole life—assumed I’d die by them, too, and I never had a problem with that. My Reaper brothers took my back and I took theirs and it was enough. Then I met her. Tinker Garrett. She’s beautiful, she’s loyal, and she works so damned hard it scares me sometimes . . . She deserves a good man—one better than me. I can’t take her yet because the club still needs me. There’s another woman, another job, another fight just ahead.
Now she’ll learn I’ve been lying to her all along. None of it’s real. Not my name, not my job, not even the clothes I wear. She thinks I’m nice. She pretends we’re just friends, that I’ve still got a soul . . . Mine’s been dead for years. Now I’m on fire for this woman, and a man can only burn for so long before he destroys everything around him.
I’m coming for you, Tinker.
Soon.

Tinker
It was almost seven that evening when I felt the AC kick back on. I’d been lying on my back on the (relatively) cool tile floor behind the counter, staring up at the pressed-tin ceiling and trying to remember why I hadn’t already moved back to Seattle.
In Seattle it rained.
Cool breezes blew off the bay and the lush greenery covered everything with its shaded canopy. People didn’t really need air-conditioning, but if they happened to have it and it broke, there were lots of repair men available.
Of course, Seattle also had Brandon. Not only that, my dad didn’t want to move, and I’d come to realize I couldn’t leave him here alone. It wasn’t safe for him, not since Mom died.
Ugh.
At least the AC was working again, blowing down from the ceiling vent across my sweaty body, reminding me that while the world might not be crawling with perfect men, at least there were still a few useful ones running around. Cooper Romero was a keeper, and it had nothing to do with how sexy he was . . . although the fact that he was sex on a stick—make that sex with a stick—didn’t exactly diminish his appeal.
When I’d dragged him up to the black tar roof to show him the ancient AC, I’d expected him to make a run for it. Any sensible man would. Instead, he’d spent the whole afternoon busting his ass to save my chocolates—Oh God, I wish that were code for something more exciting—officially qualifying him as a superhero in my book.
As for me, there wasn’t much I could do once I got all the sweets safely downstairs into the basement. There weren’t any customers walking in off the street, and seeing as I couldn’t make or ship candy in a 102-degree shop, I’d alternated between attempting to read a book, looking over orders I couldn’t fulfill on my laptop, and bringing Cooper glasses of iced tea. I’d been nervous around him at first, but you can only stay nervous for so long when you’re sweating like a pig—there’s a certain freedom in knowing you look like hell and there’s no saving your hair. I’d thrown my arm across my eyes in a pathetic attempt to block out reality toward the end.
When cold air started flowing into the room, I could’ve cried with relief. He’d never had a chance to fill out the application form, and I’d long since decided it didn’t matter. Unless he was an ax murderer, I’d give him the apartment and the job.
Might give it to him even if he was, to be honest.
“It’s working again,” Cooper announced, and I jerked, startled. Shit, had I fallen asleep? Opening my eyes, I looked up to find him standing over me. Dear God in heaven—that was one hell of a bare chest.
Holy. Shit.
I’d taken note of his build when he first walked in the shop, but everything under his shirt had been theoretical. Now there was six-foot-plus of raw sex appeal right there, all sweaty and sculpted and . . . well, let’s just say I’d be stopping off on the way home to pick up some fresh batteries.
That’s when the situation hit me—Cooper Romero was the hottest man I’d met in forever, and he’d just found me lying on the floor in my own sweat and filth like a dog. Typical luck. I scrambled to my feet, pretending I wasn’t totally embarrassed (I was) and not in the least bit freaked out by how unspeakably attractive this guy was. Okay, “attractive” wasn’t quite the right word, because it implied a certain level of polish and class that just didn’t fit Cooper at all.
Brandon was attractive.
Cooper?

Tail by Evie Harper Review

“I had trusted him. I had loved him…”

Dom was the mysterious bad boy all my brothers warned me to stay away from. Even so, when I looked into his eyes, I saw someone I had to know. A man, who with a single touch, sparked a desire deep inside me.
I was wrong to trust. Mistaken to hope.

Brokenhearted
Betrayed
And on the run…

Dom Haynes, a man determined to protect that which he ruined. He thinks he can save us…he can’t. I’d given Dom my heart, and I don’t want it back, for fear of feeling, it’s broken insides.
I’m Della King, little sister to the infamous Portland Street Kings. However, I’m not the same woman I used to be. Nightmares I thought I'd controlled we’re once again taking hold.
Doms intentions are clear. He wants a second chance. Hate him or love him, he isn’t going anywhere.

He’ll ride with me.
Fight with me.
Love me.

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!
In Tail, Dom has lied about who is his and what his job is. His lies have caused a good amount of problems especially for Della. She fell for him and all his lies, now she's hurt but also in trouble. Dangerous people are coming for her and she must accept Dom's help if she wants to survive.

I really loved and enjoyed this book. Once again just another good book. This series is just so good, I don't know if I know how to describe it anymore. These stories are all so raw, tough, dangerous and emotional. That they do nothing but hook me right from the start. Evie has basically a way with words, I love how her descriptions of each book are basically nothing and reading the book is like putting together a jigsaw puzzle and I definitely enjoyed putting together. Really can't wait for the next book. I need it asap !! :D
Big thanks to Evie for allowing me to read all of her books for an honest review. <3

Evie is an Australian author whose passion for reading lead her into writing. Evie spends her days writing heartbreaking, suspense filled love stories with happily ever after’s. Evie’s characters are strong alphas with even stronger heroines who bring sexy sass to the relationship.

Collision & Fatal by Evie Harper Reviews!!!

When I was fourteen years old, I killed for the first time.  That day I learned cruelty wasn’t only within the walls we had just escaped.

It hasn’t been easy growing up in the middle of a war. A struggle to find shelter. Fighting to protect our bodies against the corruption of the streets. Nobody cared about the street kids who had to beg and steal to eat. Now we are the Portland Street Kings – A family forged through loyalty not blood. To get through this life of broken dreams alive, we’ve become hard, uncaring and merciless. We do what must be done to keep our family safe, we will harm those who stand against us.

We have it all, feared and respected by those on the streets. Then she collided into my world, and with her came demons from my past, back to haunt us all.

MY REVIEW!!!
5 STARS!!!
In Collision by Evie Harper we meet two very different but similar people, Slater and Piper. Slater will steal, kill, hurt, die before anything happens to his family. That's why the Portland Street Kings are so deadly and feared. Piper is sort of looking for a place to belong and a family of her own. Slater and Piper come together so fast but can it last.

I really loved and enjoyed this book. Gosh this story just sucked me into it. I absolutely loved and adored the character of Slater, he was so badass, tough, dark, deadly and sexy and just overall someone I want (hahaha I need me a Slater stat!!) I love the fact that the author gave us a completely different book blurb then one were used too. This book's blurb has no characters names or a really good description, its sort of secretive and dark and mysterious. Which is basically what this book is.  This is such a good book one that I could not get enough of. Definitely one of my top reads for this year. Can't wait to read more.

Mackson King’s past is a dark, horror-filled chasm that could swallow the toughest, most dangerous men. A member of the notorious Portland Street Kings, he’s impossible to intimidate—but he can be hurt. He learned that the hard way, thanks to her. Lana. The one woman capable of easing his nightmares, of soothing his demons, was the very woman who shredded his heart. She took away his torments, only to become one of them.

Born into a family who lost their way long before she arrived, Lana Scavello has carefully enforced a steely interior that shields her heart from harm. But that doesn’t mean she can’t cry, and she’s spared Mackson King more tears than he ever deserved. Finding Lana at her most vulnerable, saving her when she felt the most invisible, he burrowed beneath her defenses to carve his own personal door to her soul. Only to decimate it, along with everything she’d ever known.

Now, years later, fate has thrown the couple together once more. Pain, heartbreak and betrayal will explode to the surface, leaving both of them raw, aching, exposed. And that’s when their true love story begins…

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!
In Fatal by Evie Harper, Mackson King and Lana Scavello are at a crossroads, both have hurt one another and now hate each other. Now Mack is forced to watch over Lana and protect her from her crazy brother who has gone off the deep end. Will all the hurt and betrayal force these two father apart or can something bring these two back together and the deep love that once shared.

I really enjoyed and loved this book. Gosh this series is just so damn good, I just can not get enough of these characters. There stories are so compelling that you just can't help but be intrigued and want to know and read more. I really can't get enough of Evie's writing style, it's so different from anything I've read before. Her characters, their monologue, actions and just the way their story's play out is just amazing. I can't get enough, this is series is definitly going to be one of my top series of the year. Can't wait to read more.

Ryan's Love by CA Harms Review!!

Ryan's Love
Sawyer Brothers #1
C.A. Harms
Contemporary Romance
Published: August 11, 2015
Publisher: Limitless Publishing
One of the hardest things I have ever had to do was bury my wife.
The second hardest thing would be watching my 12 year old daughter fall to her knees as they lowered her mother into the ground to rest.
A heart wrenching vision that will forever be etched in my mind.
Claire was my best friend, she had been since we were barely old enough to talk. I always knew, one day, I would marry her. I think I may have even told her that a few times while we were growing up.
Never did I think I would lose her so suddenly.
I knew at that moment…
Our life would never be the same again…

MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book. It was a sweet, very emotional read. I really loved the characters and story lines. I thought they were both very strong and had me easily hooked. I really enjoyed the family dynamic of this, as it weighs a huge weight on all major protagonists, as well as, brings home components of life that are both beautiful and devastating.  Can't wait to read more.

A Better Man by Candis Terry Review!

Meet the Kincade brothers: they’ll do what it takes to protect their legacy—but what happens when love gets in the way?

Hockey star Jordan Kincade wasted no time ditching Sunshine Valley and everyone who mattered for a career in the NHL—a truth Jordan confronts when his parents’ deaths bring him home. Now he’s back to make amends, which begins with keeping his younger sister from flunking out of school. It’s just his luck that the one person who can help is the girl whose heart he broke years ago.

Lucy Diamond has racked up a number of monumental mistakes in her life, the first involving a certain blue-eyed charmer. She has no intention of falling for Jordan Kincade again, but when he shows up asking her to help one of her students, Lucy just can’t say no. Worse, the longer he’s back, the more she sees how much he’s changed. And so when a blistering kiss turns to more, she can’t help but wonder if her heart will be crushed again . . . or if she’ll discover true love with a better man.

MY REVIEW!!
4.5 STARS!!
A Better Man is the first book in Candis Terry’s new Sunshine Creek Vineyardseries.  Nicole who is Jordan’s 17 year old sister, like many teens her age, has an attitude problem which seems to be going from bad to worse.  Jordan a hockey star who left home at an early age and never really got to be around Nicole.  Is taking the brunt of her wrath and as he takes a closer look at his role in her life – or non-role, in this case – he can’t help but want to do whatever he can to help her work her way through the tragic loss of their parents. Everyone assumes it’s that loss that has Nicole turned inside out, but it turns out to be much more than that.

Lucy Diamond is a wonderful woman. She’s smart, compassionate, attractive…but trust doesn’t come easy to her. Her past hasn’t defined her, but it has made her very cautious. Too cautious, even to the point of not living her life to its fullest. Part of that has to do with Jordan, but mostly it’s due to an awful marriage to a man she met in college, but barely knew. It’s years later now and she considers herself pretty solid, but with Jordan back in Sunshine Valley she finds herself emotionally thrown off kilter and has to decide if he – or any man – is worth risking her heart to.

I really loved and enjoyed this book. It was a really cute, sweet romantic story that had me hooked from the moment I opened this book. I happen to be a huge hockey fan myself and my team just won the big old Stanley Cup this year (Go Penguins!! :D) So this book really intrigued me with Jordan the main characters being a professional hockey player. I really loved the family bond that all the brothers shared and can't wait to read more of there stories.  I also really loved the author's writing style. Definitely can't wait to read more.

Challenged by Ryan Michele Review!!

Lust, love, and second chances.

Growing up in the fast-paced and rough life of a motorcycle club wasn’t easy. Cleaning up the mess his father had made of Vipers Creed meant sacrifice. Cade ‘Spook’ Baker had given up everything to bring the club life back to what it was supposed to be: a family.

The choices he made were not what he wanted, but they were necessary for the club as a whole.
Second chances rarely came to Spook, so when his Trixie walked boldly into his clubhouse, the decision was made. Trixie would once again be his, this time for good.

Trix Lamasters was raised by a master—a master con. All grown up, she made her life solid by making it about her club, Sirens. But one bad business decision brought her to her knees, forcing her to call on the one person she had sworn she would never trust again.

Pasts have a way of not staying there. Things that were buried deep have a way of finding themselves in the light of a new day. Could something that had once crashed and burned for Spook and Trixie find a way out of the wreckage? With the odds against them, can they find a way to overcome the challenges, or will it all blow up in their faces?

**Due to content, mature audiences only.**

Cream of the Crop by Alice Clayton Review

New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Alice Clayton brings her trademark blend of funny and sexy to this second contemporary romance in the brand-new Hudson Valley series!

Manhattan’s It Girl, Natalie Grayson, has it all: she’s a hot exec at a leading advertising firm, known industry-wide for her challenging and edgy campaigns. She’s got a large circle of friends, a family that loves her dearly, and her dance card is always full with handsome eligible bachelors. What else could a modern gal-about-town wish for? The answer, of course, is...cheese.

Natalie’s favorite part of each week is spending Saturday morning at the Union Square Farmer’s Market, where she indulges her love of all things triple cream. Her favorite booth also indulges her love of all things handsome. Oscar Mendoza, owner of the Bailey Falls Creamery and purveyor of the finest artisanal cheeses the Hudson Valley has to offer, is tall, dark, mysterious, and a bit oblivious. Or so she thinks. But that doesn’t stop Natalie from fantasizing about the size of his, ahem, milk can.

Romance is churning, passion is burning, and something incredible is rising to the top. Could it be...love?

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book. This is a really good fun loving series, really feels just like the wallbanger series but definitely better. I really loved the character of Natalie, I thought she was so spunky and just so confident in her self. I really liked seeing that in a strong female character. This is really a quirky fun series, that I just can't get enough of. Can't wait to read the next book.

Nuts By Alice Clayton Review

From New York Times bestselling author Alice Clayton, the first in a brand-new romance series telling the humorously sexy tale of Roxie, a private chef who gets a taste of love—but is it to stay, or to go?

After losing almost all of her clients in one fell swoop following an accident involving whipped cream, private chef to Hollywood’s elite Roxie Callahan gets a call from her flighty mother, saying she’s needed home in upstate New York to run the family diner. Once she's back in the Hudson Valley, local organic farmer Leo delivers Roxie a lovely bunch of walnuts, and soon sparks—and clothing—begin to fly. Leo believes that everything worth doing is worth doing slowly... and how! But will Roxie stay upstate, or will the lure of West Coast redemption tempt her back to Tinseltown?

MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!

Roxie is a chef to the stars in LA. She loves her job, it’s exactly what she wants to be doing. After a mishap with butter and then her mom's phone call her with a request to run the family’s diner for the summer, Roxie does it, even though it’s the last thing she wants to do. Her first week there, she runs into a man who makes her look twice. Roxie knows there is something special about Leo, but the thing is, she doesn’t do love  and is also not planning on staying in this small New York town forever. Leo is a farmer in her town, and isn’t planning on going anywhere. They both agree to have the summer together but their attraction starts to shift into something more. Something that scares Roxie. Her plan is and has always been to help her mom out, run the diner for the summer, then go back to California. Now things are changing. She’s got all kinds of small town ideas. She sees possibilities. Is this change in her life something she’s willing to risk? Or is going back to California the path she’ll take…

I really loved and enjoyed this book. I was super sacred to start this book and this series because I just wasn't sure if I was going to like or even enjoy it. I really enjoy Clayton's other series and I guess with this one it felt to unknown and I wasn't sure what this series was going to be about. Boy am I glad I read it. It's pretty much like her other series but definitely different in a good way. Its still a refreshingly fun romantic comedy, that I could just not get enough of. I really enjoyed learning about all the different veggies and things growing at Leo's Maxwell Farms. I love gardening and going to farmers markets myself and eating and enjoying fresh food. Really  great start to this series, definitely can't wait to read the next book.

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!

Anna has been in love with Quinn practicality her whole life, ever since her family moved in next door to his when they were younger. Except now Anna has had enough of Quinn not returning her feelings and basically taking advantage of her and there friendship.  Quinn pretty much has no idea Anna has had these feelings for him. So when Anna starts to date and change her looks a little bit, he starts to see her in a different light. With both Anna and Quinn's friends and family saying she deserves better,  Can Quinn believe he is enough for her. Or will there romance crash before it even starts.

I really loved and enjoyed this book. It was really a cute and heartwarming summer time read. I was hooked from the moment I opened this book. This is the first book I have read by the author, I know I also missed reading the first two books in this series but I just love the story of friends to lovers and the description for this book was just to good to pass up. I definitely play on reading the first two and many other books by the author. I just really loved her writing style and the way I felt she made the characters and supporting characters come to life. Can't wait to read more.
