The Rocker Series by Terri Anne Browning

Touring with four rockers is the thing of dreams… At least that is what people tell me. To me those four rockers are my family. They have watched over me from the time I was five years old.
Protecting me from my mother and her drunken, drug addict rages. When they made it big they still watched over me. And when my monster of a mother died they took over as my guardians.

In the six years since that happened I have watched over the four men that mean everything to me. I take care of them just as they once took care of me. I handle all the dirty work behind the scenes of a rockers life. It isn’t always pretty. At times it can be damn near disgusting, especially when I have to get rid of their one night stands. Ugh! Taking care of them doesn’t bother me though. I mean it’s not like I’m in love with one of them. That would be crazy. Falling for a rocker is NOT smart. Okay, so I’m not smart. I love my guys, and one of them kind of holds my heart in his big old rocker hand. But I’m dealing. I’ve been able to keep it my little secret for years now.

I'm not, however, dealing with this bug that I seem to have caught. It scares the hell out of me. I hate doctors, but I’m suddenly more worried about finding out what is wrong with me than what the doctor might do to me. When I get my test results back my life will never be the same again…

MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!
Emmie has been friends with the band members of Demon Slayer since she was a little girl. Nick Armstrong is the frontman/lead singer of the band and the man that has stolen Ember's heart. But they're more than friends, they're the only family she has ever known. Coming from an abusive household, these four guys are the only ones who have ever taken care of her and had her back. She is a little younger than all of them, so while she's been in love with one of the members, she's not sure if he sees her that way.

I liked and enjoyed this story. Nick and Emmie are a great start to this fun, intense series. I really loved all the supporting characters. Was definitely hooked and loved the way the story played out. Can't wait to read more.

Riveted by Jay Crownover Cover Revel

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Marked Men books comes the next installment in the Saints of Denver series.

Everyone else in Dixie Carmichael’s life has made falling in love look easy, and now she is ready for her own chance at some of that happily ever after. Which means she’s done pining for the moody, silent former soldier who works with her at the bar that’s become her home away from home. Nope. No more chasing the hot as heck thundercloud of a man and no more waiting for Mr. Right to find her; she’s going hunting for him...even if she knows her heart is stuck on its stupid infatuation with Dash Churchill.

Denver has always been just a pit stop for Church on his way back to rural Mississippi. It was supposed to be simple, uneventful, but nothing could have prepared him for the bubbly, bouncy redhead with doe eyes and endless curves. Now he knows it’s time to get out of Denver, fast. For a man used to living in the shadows, the idea of spending his days in the sun is nothing short of terrifying.

When Dixie and Church find themselves caught up in a homecoming overshadowed with lies and danger, Dixie realizes that while falling in love is easy, loving takes a whole lot more work…especially when Mr. Right thinks he’s all wrong for you.

Merry Cowboy Christmas by Carolyn Brown Release Blitz Stop

THIS CHRISTMAS, SANTA'S WEARING A STETSON

'Tis the night before Christmas and all through the house is the presence of one wickedly hot cowboy who's come to stay for the holiday. Fiona Logan is downright shocked to return to her childhood home and find that the tall blond stranger who came to her rescue on an icy road will be sleeping just across the hall from her bedroom. Talk about temptation . . .

Jud Dawson never believed the Lucky Penny Ranch would live up to its name until now. Fiona is gorgeous, smart, funny, and everything he thought he'd never find. Now all he has to do is convince her to stick around town instead of hightailing it back to Houston. But with wild weather, nosy neighbors, and a new baby in the family, getting her to admit that she's falling in love might just take a Christmas miracle.

MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book. I really loved the character of Jud, I thought he was super charming and just what Fiona needed. I also think she needed her family to. I felt like they both were least expecting each other but got the greatest gift out of finding each other. Really a good series, I love anything Carolyn Brown writes. Her cowboy's series are just the best and I can get so lost in them. Definitely looking forward to reading more.

Stoned by Mandi Beck Review!!

“A rock star with no rhythm is a man with no soul.” – Stone Lockhart

As the lead singer of one of the hottest bands to hit the rock scene, fucks are free, drugs come easy, and music is life.
For as long as Stone can remember, Willow has been his music – the notes that weave his soul together.
His rhythm.
Until he threw her away.
All he has left is a handful of pills and a few lines of powder to make him forget her.
And he tries, over and over.

Clean and ready to make things right, he’s faced with the fact that Willow’s moved on. She’s not the same girl he cast aside. Willow’s a woman sure about her purpose in life. Sure about who she’s meant to love.
Stone may be lost without his rhythm, but Willow has found so much more.

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!!

After almost killing himself and nearly burning down his house. Stone Lockhart is finally getting help. Weather he wants it or not. Willow has gone into hiding after what Stone has done to her. Can he find her and get his rhythm back.

I really loved and enjoyed this book so freakinggg much!!! it completely ruined me over and over again then put me back together. Such a deep, emotional, crazy romantic read. I really loved the character of Stone, I thought he was crazy, out of his mind for doing what he did to Willow but I loved how he never gave up and stayed true to his word. All he ever really needed and wanted was Willow. I really loved this authors writing style and just loved the way the story played out. I was so hooked on this book literally with the first word. Definitely my all time favorite read of this year and just in general. Can't wait to read more by this author! Also will be seeing her in a signing soon, and can't wait to hug and meet her and just tell her all my feeling :D!!

The Playbook by Kelly Elliott Blog Tour Stop!!

My life revolved around two things. Football and my cock. And not necessarily in that order.
Being the head football coach for a top university in Texas had its ups and its downs.
The ups? Endless women to f*ck.
The downs? The politics that came with the job.
From the moment Aubrey Cain walked into my office, she turned my world upside down. Being forced to have her follow me around for a month was going to be a pain in the ass. Especially since I couldn’t keep my eyes off of her. The best I’d hoped to come out of this was a few nights with her in my bed. I never imagined she’d be the game changer.
Brett Owens was my assignment.
Head football coach for a top college, bad boy reputation, short temper, and handsome good looks should have scared me off. But I was tougher than that. From the first words out of his obnoxious, dirty-talking mouth, I knew it was going to be a long month. It wasn’t five minutes after meeting him, he hit on me. If only I had known his blue eyes would haunt my dreams and awaken a desire inside of me I never knew existed. This was business. There was no way I would be tempted by him no matter how good looking he was or how many things he whispered in my ear.
He was only supposed to be my assignment. Not the man who threatened to destroy both my heart and
my career. I would follow along with his playbook for now. But who would end up winning was anyone’s guess.

The Playbook is a stand-alone novel.

MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!
I really liked and enjoyed this book. I liked the story line and there characters and there chemistry together. I loved the character of Brett and thought he was super charming and dangerous. First book I read by this author and definitely can't wait to read more.

Before I found out that best friends make the worst kind of enemies.

MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!
I liked and enjoyed this story. I liked the dramatic story line and the characters. I will say I was not a big fan of how the story ends only because I do not like books that end the way this one does. Wish I would have know that before going in but overall a very good story. The ending does not take away from the drama or how good the story is. Can't wait to read the next book.

For Hannah O'Malley, life is starting fresh and anew. She just signed the divorce papers, and she is rid of her  abusive husband once and for all. She is free to live her life and raise her daughter as she sees fit, without worrying about anger, bruises and verbal abuse. Hannah is determined to let go of the pain and hardships and find a new beginning. Soon she is turning her home into a refuge for other battered women, and in doing so, she might just find a new beginning.
I really loved and enjoyed this story. Definitely a good comfort read, when your in a reading funk or just don't know what to read. This is the perfect book for that. The secondary characters bring much love and laughter into this book, your cheeks will definitely hurt from smiling so hard while reading. I really loved the character of Travis, I thought he was so sweet and loving and was just the perfect person for Hannah. Aunt Birdie was just the best with her shot gun and funny diagram. Carolyn is one of my most favorite authors. I know that without a doubt that no matter what book of her's I read,  I can just get lost in it and know it will be a good story. Better then the last. Can't wait to read more from her.

Wrong Question, Right Answer by Elle Casey

As a member of the Bourbon Street Boys private security firm, Antoinette “Toni” Delacourte is one strong woman, but despite her reputation for being tough as nails, she is haunted by her past mistakes. Now they’re catching up to her, and throwing her for a loop.Ten years ago, Toni kissed Lucky, her brother’s best friend. Worried it would break apart the group she’d come to see as family, she walked away—straight into the arms of Charlie, and an abusive relationship. For the past decade she’s tried to keep her feelings for Lucky platonic—he’s her friend, her colleague, and he’s got his own past to deal with. Free of Charlie but unable to shake his memory, Toni finds herself feeling vulnerable and unable to deny her attraction to Lucky any longer. She’s always thought that kiss was her first mistake, but now she’s wondering whether the real mistake was running away.

MY REVIEW!!3 STARS!

Toni who hides behind this tough girl persona, one that keeps people at a distance. She’s strong and loyal to her Bourbon Street brethren; however, she is haunted by the mistakes of her past. Lucky, who also works at Bourbon Street Boys, is someone that Toni has known since her childhood. She crushed on him hard in her teen years and after a kiss one night she runs into the wrong arms. Lucky is also someone that battles with the demons from his past. Like Toni, he carries around a huge burden of guilt. When Toni and Lucky end up moving past the friend-zone and lines get blurred.
This book did just not do it for me. I did not like the character of Toni at all. I don't very much care for tough, crude female leads in books. I just couldn't stand Toni, the way she spoke, they way her monologues were in her head. I literally skipped over most of her because she annoyed me so bad. I mean she thought she was a murder, in hindsight she was but not really it was self defense. I just dint really get the whole story line either and to me Lucky was not male enough for me as a character. He bent over backwards and walked on eggshells for Toni who to be it seemed like she cared less. She was very rude to the other characters May and her sister and I don't know why either. The writing style was good and I loved the other characters from the other books we saw, but this book to me just did not hook me. It really saddens me that I din't like this book. I loved the other to books and enjoyed the authors writing style. I really hope the other books are better.

Stipped Down by Emma Hart Blog Tour Stop

What do you get when you mix a bottle of tequila, a single mom moonlighting as a stripper, and her
sinfully sexy boss with an impulsive side?

Married. You get married.
Rich. Demanding. Hot. Crazy.
That was Beckett Cruz in a nutshell.

Not to mention wild, determined, dangerous, and forbidden. He was my boss—and, after a drunken moment of insanity, my new husband.

An annulment was impossible... so was keeping him.
I was taking my daughter and leaving, determined to give her a quieter life.
But Beckett Cruz had never taken no for an answer.
And he wasn't about to take mine.
What happens in Vegas... might just keep you there.

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!
Cassie is a single mom working as a stripper at Beckett's strip club. Cassie gets some bad news about her fathers health right before a shift. Beckett notices she's not her self so he invites her up to his office to chat and relax a little. Well relaxing turns into drinking and a lot of kissing which leads to them waking up married to each other. Both we to fix the quickie wedding but also don't move so fast to actually fix it.
I really loved and enjoyed Stripped Down as much as I loved the first book Stripped Bare. Really great characters and even better story lines. I loved the character of Cassie and how strong, brave and really a smart girl she was. She was very independent and did what was needed for her family no matter what. I thought the character of Beckett was very charming but also knew what he had right in front of him with Cassie and her little girl and he knew he just couldn't let that go. Really a great read and a great series so far. Can't wait to read more!
