My Kind of Wonderful by Jill Shalvis Review

UNEXPECTED AND UNDENIABLE...

Bailey Moore has an agenda: skiing in the Rockies, exploring castles in Europe, ballroom dancing in Argentina. Now that she has a second lease on life, she's determined not to miss a thing. What she doesn't realize is that item #1 comes with a six-foot-one ski god hot enough to melt a polar ice cap. She doesn't want to miss out on him either, but Hudson Kincaid isn't the type of guy to love and let go. And as gorgeous as Cedar Ridge is, she's not planning to stick around.

As head of ski patrol at his family's resort, Hud thinks he's seen it all. But never has he run into someone like Bailey. She might look delicate, but her attitude is all firecracker. And her infectious joy touches something deep within him that he's been missing far too long. Now he'll just have to convince Bailey to take a chance on her biggest adventure yet . . . something rare and all kinds of wonderful.

MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!!

I really loved and enjoyed this book. This book and this series is just so enjoyable to read. I love the hole family dynamic and think that this is what makes the story so great. All the siblings and other characters are just so easy to fall in love with. Hud and Bailey are definitely my favorite characters of this series so far. Can't wait to read more.

With a limitless supply of push-up bras and garter belts, Olivia turns her considerable feminine charms on Deacon to discover what makes him tick . . . and reveals instead the billion reasons why she wants him to stay.

MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!

I liked and enjoyed this book. I really liked the story line and the characters. Thought it was a really cute and romantic story that was easy to get into. I really din't care for the beginning of the book. I really don't understand why the author made Deacon and his brothers basically the relatives of Duck Dynasty and put no mention of it in her description, It's really important part of the book I think especially when the story opens up to Olivia having to go and find Deacon and his brothers. I was really confused in the beginning of the story and felt maybe that would have helped. I was also confused my the fact that the author put in the books description Olivia was basically going to seduce Deacon, but really to me there was no seducing going on. They just sort of fell in love really quick. These two parts don't make the story bad at all or anything just might make the reader a little confused like they did with me. This was a great start to this new series and I really can't wait to read the other brothers book.

Steal Me by Lauren Layne Review

Being a cop might be in Anthony Moretti's blood, but protecting and serving the city of New York has always been more than just the family business. If that means his love life stays locked up, well then that's just another sacrifice made in the line of duty. That is, until he sets eyes on the gorgeous new waitress at The Darby Diner and suddenly Anthony's morning coffee is leaving him a whole lot more hot and bothered than usual.

Though waitressing at The Darby isn't exactly Maggie Walker's dream job, it pays the bills and gives her time to work on her novel. Now if only she could stop fantasizing about gorgeous Anthony Moretti every time he sits down at her table, she'd really be in great shape. But when he needs her help identifying a criminal threatening The Darby—and Maggie recognizes her ex-husband—she fears her fresh start might be a pipe dream. Faster than a New York minute, Maggie and Anthony find themselves in one perilous pursuit that only gets hotter with each and every rule-breaking kiss.

MY REVIEW!!!

I really loved and enjoyed this book. This is a really great series. I had a little trouble getting into the first book Frisk Me but with Steal Me I just flew right through it. I really loved both characters and the story line. I absolutely loved the character of Anthony and his brooding ways, he was a really good character. Really am loving and enjoying this series. Vincent's book can't come soon enough.

MY REVIEW
5 STARS!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book. I really loved the character of Brent, I just thought he was a character himself lol. I think that this is a really great sexy new series and it just makes me want more and more. Can't wait to read the rest.

Megan Erickson grew up in a family that averages 5’5” on a good day and started writing to create characters who could reach the top kitchen shelf. She’s got a couple of tattoos, has a thing for gladiators and has been called a crazy cat lady. After working as a journalist for years, she decided she liked creating her own endings better and switched back to fiction.
She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, two kids and two cats. And no, she still can’t reach the
stupid top shelf.

Wrong Number, Right Guy by Elle Casey Review

When a mysterious text message summons May Wexler to a biker bar in downtown New Orleans, she knows something is very wrong. Her sister has sent out an SOS, but when May gets there, she’s nowhere to be found and May is the one in trouble—she’s wearing pink espadrilles, she’s got a Chihuahua in her purse, and she’s in the middle of a shootout.

After tall, muscular Ozzie comes to her rescue, May has no choice but to follow him to safety. At the headquarters of his private security firm, the Bourbon Street Boys, she finds a refuge for the night—and the offer of a job. But it’s not long before a gun-toting stalker isn’t the only complication in May’s life: the more time she spends with Ozzie, the less she can deny that they’ve got some serious chemistry. A wrong number got her into this mess…Will it also get her the right guy?

MY REVIEW
5 STARS!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book. I really loved the character of May, I thought she was a very funny and fiery character who meant business. I think this is a really great start to this new series. I also really loved this book because it felt like I was kind of reading a Kristen Ashley book and I mean that in a really good way. Ashley is one of my favorite authors and I just felt like this book and the same feel to me has hers do. Really can't wait to read more.

The way the mirror on my dressing table is angled gives me the perfect opportunity to watch Liam undress. This is my favorite ritual, morning and night. I’ll take the chance anytime I can to watch him methodically peel off his clothes. He’s a man who unties his shoes first, placing them back on the shoe rack. His socks are next, followed by his shirt. My peeping tom ways are often rewarded when he’s wearing a dress shirt. Not only do I get to watch the muscles in his back flex as he pushes each button through the ridiculously small hole, but his undressing is prolonged. He takes his t-shirt off the same way every time and when he pulls the collar from behind and the shirt slowly lifts inch by inch, my mouth waters. My lips become dry and my knuckles ache from my hand clutching my hairbrush. The clank of his belt buckle and the almost too silent pop of the fabric from his button down jeans have me staring intently into the mirror. My make-up is only half off, my mouth wide open and I’m the picture of someone who needs serious help. And let’s not get started on the way he gets dressed...His jeans drop to the ground and he kicks them aside, depriving me of the chance to watch him bend over to pick them up. I find myself leaning into my vanity to get a better look as his thumbs dip into the waistband of his boxer briefs. Men find women's lingerie sexy and appealing. It turns them on. The look and feel teases them and they love it. I never thought about men in their underwear until I saw Liam in his. Over the years he’s maintained his muscles, yet has a more defined physique. His boxers aren’t sagging in places they shouldn’t. My husband could be an underwear model with his form fitting briefs, although I don’t know if I’d want the world to see what he only shares with me. The cotton fabric pools at his feet. He steps out of them and turns around, showing me his naked body... a body only for my eyes, my hands, my lips and any other part of me. “How long are you going to stare at me?” I swallow hard as my eyes flash to his and a wicked grin plays across my lips. “Until my eyes no longer work,” I tell him. “Or until you tell me to stop.” “Hmm that’ll be never,” he says as he walks near me.

Wilde At Heart by Tonya Burrows Review

He has everything under control. Except her.

Reece Wilde put everything in his life on the backburner to protect his brothers and their struggling company, Wilde Security. With a major contract on the line, Reece can't afford any mistakes...like getting caught in a red-hot, X-rated moment with wild child Shelby Bremer, who's more trouble than he can handle. Now he's being blackmailed.

Shelby's mile-long impulsive streak gets her in more trouble than she'd like to admit. Between her sister's wedding, her coffee shop set on fire, and getting down and dirty with the groom's brother, things are definitely coming off the rails. With both their careers and their safety on the line, Reece is determined to keep them both safe...even if it means a Vegas-style shotgun wedding.

But gambling on a wild card—and a wild soul—is risky...and sometimes, it can get a guy killed

Can't Resist Him by Molly Mclain Review

Sometimes what you want and what you need are two very different things.

Always relegated to the “friends with benefits” corner of small town River Bend, Jenny Riley is done giving the milk for free. Falling hard for a bad boy? Not in the plan, either.

Sexy, emotionally-wounded Marine Reservist Brody Nelson just needs someone to lend an ear. A friend. Friends to lovers? That’s more than he bargained for.

Neither wants a relationship. A long distance friendship should be enough.

It’s not.

Warning: This books contains a tattooed, pierced hero with a few surprises up his sleeve...and a hella sexy one down his pants.

Can't Resist Him is the fifth book in the River Bend series.

MY REVIEW
4 STARS!!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book. Really a great book but also a really great and fun loving series that I just can't get enough of. Really loved the characters and there interweaving story lines. Cant wait to read more.

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon Review

This innovative, heartfelt debut novel tells the story of a girl who’s literally allergic to the outside world. When a new family moves in next door, she begins a complicated romance that challenges everything she’s ever known. The narrative unfolds via vignettes, diary entries, texts, charts, lists, illustrations, and more.

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

In Everything, Everything we meet a young teen Madeline, who has a disease that doesn't allow her to go out into the world. Olly is the new next door neighbor who she befriends. Throw in a drunken father, a lot of lies and lots of family drama.

I really loved and enjoyed this book. I thought it was very different then any other young adult book that I've read. I really loved both characters  and thought that there stories were really touching and very heartwarming. I was really surprised at the end of the book where Madeline learns that her life is not really what she has been told but I also really loved that part as well because it finally gave Madeline the courage to live the life she's always wanted and deserve. Cant wait to read more by this author.

MY REVIEW
5 STARS!!

In Brave the Heat we meet Jordan and Gavin both very heartbroken and down on there life's and there luck.  Jordan comes back to Old Brookfield after a horrible marriage, a place she never really wanted to return to because of a bad childhood. Gavin is the Fire Chief and is still not over what happened between him and Jordan all those years ago. Throw in to small children, an arsonist, a lot of mixed feelings and pain of the past with a hot Fire Chief and a newly Single beautiful women. Should be a wild ride

I really loved and enjoyed this book. I really both Jordan and Gavin there were both heartwarming and interesting characters that were just easy to fall in love with. The story line for me just flowed naturally and I pretty much devoured it in one sitting. I really loved the writing style of this story as well and to me its a great start to this series, plus the others brothers seemed really interesting and I cant wait to read there stories as well!

But if Maddie ends up getting what she wants, they might both be sorry. Because some very dangerous men are hot on her trail—and Tals and his MC will have to put their lives on the line to protect her.…

MY REVIEW
5 STARS!!

I really really loved and enjoyed this book. I really loved the characters of Maddie and Tals, I thought there own personal stories and there story together was very intriguing and I loved there own personal growth and there growth together. I also liked the fact that the author threw in the story lines for Preacher and Holly, Rocco and Lola. It gave me a surprise of what is to come next and I cant wait. I loved the writing style and the fact that this didn't feel like every other MC book out there. I am a huge fan of MC books and there is so many out there that are good but others that are not that great and basically feel like your reading the same story line but this is definitely different and it a really good way. Really a great series that you can't go wrong with trying out. I can't wait for the rest of this awesome series and to see what else the author has cooked up for my favorite MC boys.
