My Year In Books!!!!!

I HAVE READ 192 BOOKS THIS YEAR!!!!

I had a super good reading year!
All of these and most of my books read this year were all 5 star reads!!

I also have set reading goals for next year!!
I also try to read 200 books but can never get there. I usually end up in a lot of reading slumps or funks but I'm gonna try to stop those from happening!

My 2017 Reading Goals!!
1. Read 200 books!
2. Try to finish 5 series but also start 5 new series. I have a lot of lingering series just sitting on my bookshelf. I want to finish those up but also start some new ones.
3. Try reading at least 3 new genres. I would love to read like history, mystery, or even crime books. Just to keep my reading fresh, instead of always reading romance (there nothing wrong with that though lol!!)
4. I also want to review and blog a lot more, I sometimes drop off with out posting anything for days (stinky life gets in the way haha :D) I also would love to try my hand at doing videos. I always have a hard time when doing reviews because I never know how to write what I feel so I think videos would be a whole lot better!
These are my reading goals for 2017, what are some of yours???
To me I love when a new reading year starts its always so exciting. I just love it.
What are some of your 2017 reading goals or just goals in general??
Have a Happy New Year and a good reading year :]

Until Ashlyn By Aurora Rose Reynolds Blog Tour Stop

Dillon Keck knew Ashlyn Mayson was drunk when she suggested they get married. He knew he should have taken her back to their hotel room and put her to bed. Instead, he did what he had been craving to do since the moment they met.
Claim her as his.
Waking up married in Vegas isn't something Ashlyn Mayson ever thought would happen to her. Having Dillon, her boss, a man she thinks is a dick, insist they stay married is absurd, but every time he touches her, she gets lost in him and wonders if maybe they are meant to be together.

But someone isn't happy for Dillon and Ashlyn and their new found romance, and they're willing to do anything to keep them apart. Even commit murder.

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!
I really loved and enjoyed Until Ashlyn. One of My favorite books of the year. I love reading books where the couple accidentally gets married in Vegas, it just makes for a wonderful funny story. Loved the chemistry between Ashlyn and Dillon. I thought they were just perfect for each other. Really a great series that I always recommend. You can never go wrong with Aurora's books. Hook me every time and always leave me wanting more.

Fire In You by Jennifer L Armentrout Review!!!

From the # 1 New York Times and International bestselling author, Jennifer L. Armentrout writing as J. Lynn, comes a richly moving story about heartbreak and guilt, second chances and hope. Full of familiar, fan-favorite characters and no two people more deserving of a happy ending, Fire In You will burn bright beyond the last page…

Jillian Lima’s whole world was destroyed in a span of a few hours. The same night her childhood love, Brock ‘the Beast’ Mitchell, broke her heart, her life was irrevocably altered by the hand of a stranger with a gun. It takes six years to slowly glue together the shattered pieces of her life, but Jillian is finally ready to stop existing in a past full of pain and regret. She takes a job at her father’s martial arts Academy and she’s going out on her first date since a failed relationship that was more yuck than yum. Jillian is determined to start living.

She just never expected Brock to be a part of her life again. But he’s firmly back in her life before she knows it, and not only is he older, he’s impossibly more handsome, more teasing and more everything. And when he sees Jillian, he’s no longer capable of thinking of her as the little girl who was his shadow growing up or the daughter of the man who gave him a second chance at life. He sees the woman who’d always been there for him, the one person who believed in him no matter what.

Brock knows she’s the one he should’ve made his, and what begins as a tentative friendship quickly turns to red-hot chemistry that sparks a flame that burns brighter than lust. Falling for Brock again risks more than her heart, because when the past sorrow-filled and guilt-ridden past resurfaces, and a web of lies threatens to rip them apart, the fallout could lay waste to everything they’ve fought to build together, and destroy the dreams of those they care most about.

MY REVIEW!!

After We Fall by Melanie Harlow Review!!

Jack Valentini isn’t my type.

Sexy, brooding cowboys are fine in the movies, but in real life, I prefer a suit and tie. Proper manners. A close shave.  Jack might be gorgeous, but he’s also scruffy, rugged, and rude. He wants nothing to do with a “rich city girl” like me, and he isn’t afraid to say so.  But I’ve got a PR job to do for his family’s farm, so he’s stuck with me and I’m stuck with him. His glares. His moods. His tight jeans. His muscles.

His huge, hard muscles.

Pretty soon there’s a whole different kind of tension between us, the kind that has me misbehaving in barns, trees, and pickup trucks. I’ve never done anything so out of character—but it feels too good to stop. And the more I learn about the grieving ex-Army sergeant, the better I understand him. Losing his wife left him broken and bitter and blaming himself. He doesn’t think he deserves a second chance at happiness.

But he’s wrong.
I don’t need to be his first love. If only he’d let me be his last.

MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book. Such a good story, I loved the story line and the chemistry between all the characters. Was hooked from the moment I started the book. I definitely loved how Jack had to grow and learn somethings the hard way. I can't wait to read more by the author.

Being Brooke By Emma Hart Review!!

From New York Times bestselling author, Emma Hart, comes a brand new standalone novel. BEING BROOKE is a laugh-out-loud, witty, and sometimes highly inappropriate romantic comedy about being in love with your best friend. And how much that freaking sucks.

My name is Brooke Barker...
And I'm a freaking disaster.
No, seriously. I'm a college drop-out working a dead-end job, my best friend Carly's dog gets more action than I do, and I have more bad dates in my diary than there are movie remakes.
Not to mention I'm completely and utterly in love with Cain Elliott.
The problem? He's in a relationship. With a girl who's so plastic she makes Barbie cry herself to sleep with jealousy.
The second problem? He's my best friend.
My shut-up-and-put-on-Harry-Potter, yes-this-is-your-shirt, help-I-have-no-power, crap-I'm-out-of-tampons, kinda best friend.
And that's all he can be, right?
Right.

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!

I really really loved and enjoyed this one! I loved the characters especially Brooke and all her weird and awkwardness! I loved the chemistry between all the characters and also loved how Brooke became her own and actually found something she loved even if sort of my accident. I also love how there wasn't much intimacy in this book, it happened more towards the end and it was so refreshing to not have sex scenes every five minutes in a book. Definitely one of my favorite author with another great book. Can't wait to read more!

Needing the Memories Blog Tour Stop

Happy Ever After doesn’t end at the Epilogue. The Epilogue is really only the beginning. For us, it’s meant sharing every high, every low, and loving each other even more when we come out the other side still standing. He’s everything I’ve always wanted. My best friend. My lover. My husband…

My Demon.
And I’m his Angel.
Our life hasn’t always been perfect, but to me as long as I get to wake up to Angel in my arms every morning and get to tuck our girls into bed at the end of each day I’ll be the happiest man in the world. Nothing can come between us, nothing can tear us apart.
Only…I have one regret. One that is still a black void in my head.
Every year it’s the same.
The regret.
The self-loathing for the man I was back then.
The anger that I’d taken something from the woman who has given herself to me so freely and being unable to remember a single second of it. This year it’s worse for me. It’s slowly driving me crazy.
Maybe it’s time to hit rewind and give us both a do over for that night.
Maybe what I really need is a memory to replace that empty blackness that is trying to swallow me whole.

Big Rock by Lauren Blakely Review!!

It's not just the motion of the ocean, ladies. It's definitely the SIZE of the boat too.
And I've got both firing on all cylinders. In fact, I have ALL the right assets. Looks, brains, my own money, and a big c&$k.
You might think I'm an as%*$le. I sound like one, don’t I? I'm hot as sin, rich as heaven, smart as hell and hung like a horse.
Guess what? You haven't heard my story before. Sure, I might be a playboy, like the NY gossip rags call me. But I’m the playboy who’s actually a great guy. Which makes me one of a kind.
The only trouble is, my dad needs me to cool it for a bit. With conservative investors in town wanting to buy his flagship Fifth Avenue jewelry store, he needs me not only to zip it up, but to look the part of the committed guy. Fine. I can do this for Dad. After all, I’ve got him to thank for the family jewels. So I ask my best friend and business partner to be my fiancée for the next week. Charlotte’s up for it. She has her own reasons for saying yes to wearing this big rock.
And pretty soon all this playing pretend in public leads to no pretending whatsoever in the bedroom, because she just can’t fake the kind of toe-curling, window-shattering orgasmic cries she makes as I take her to new heights between the sheets.

But I can’t seem to fake that I might be feeling something real for her.

What the hell have I gotten myself into with this…big rock?

BIG ROCK is a standalone, dirty romance novel written from the guy’s POV by NYT Bestselling author Lauren Blakely

MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book. Really a great story with strong characters. This is the second book I have read by the author and I am really enjoying her work. Definitely can't wait to read more by her!

Hit the Spot By J.Daniels Review!!

Is this love or just a game?
Tori Rivera thinks Jamie McCade is rude, arrogant, and worst of all . . . the sexiest man she's ever laid eyes on. His reputation as a player is almost as legendary as his surfing skills. No matter how her body heats up when he's around, she's determined not to be another meaningless hookup.

Jamie McCade always gets what he wants. The sickest wave. The hottest women. And Tori, with her long legs and smart mouth, is definitely the hottest one. He knows Tori wants him-hell, most women do-but she won't admit it. After months of chasing and one unforgettable kiss, it's time for Jamie to raise the stakes.

Jamie promises that soon Tori won't just want him in her bed, she'll be begging for it-and he might be right. Somehow he's found the spot in her heart that makes her open up like never before. But with all she knows about his past, can she really trust what's happening between them? Is Jamie playing for keeps or just playing to win?

No Pants Required by Kim Karr Review

I, Makayla Alexander, am on a mission to reinvent myself. So when a super hot guy boards the plane and flashes his rock hard abs, I pay attention. When he sits next to me and offers me his nuts, I can’t resist. But when I choke on them and he tells me I need to work on my gag reflex, I realize I might be in over my head.
Before I know it we’re in the lavatory and attempting to join the Mile High Club. Let me just say this...anyone who tells you it’s easy to get it on at 37,000 feet isn’t telling you the truth. After the flight attendant busts us for getting frisky in the air, the only thing that can ease my total and complete mortification is the simple fact that I am never going to see him again.

Hours later, I can’t help but wonder if fate will ever allow me to become a new version of myself.
Because Fate, she’s a fickle bitch.
Case in point...my seatmate is my new next-door neighbor.

Even with the whole fate thing we have going on, we are so not meant to be together. He’s all cool and sexy in that make love not war kind of way. Guys like him are dangerous. With that bring-you-to-your-knees body, that handsome-as-hell face, and that dirty, dirty mouth, I guarantee one glance from him wets every girl's bikini bottoms. And then there’s me…the quirky girl looking to find herself in California. All I want to do is learn to let loose. Say words like peace and groovy. Bury my toes in the sand. Who knows, maybe even have sex on the beach.

Unable to get him out of my head, I entertain the thought of being more than just friends. I know the idea is absurd. And yet, I go with it. You see Camden Waters gets me. Really gets me. Like no other guy has before.
On this 7-mile stretch of paradise, I decide to keep things simple and just have fun...that is until fate decides to screw with me, again.

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!

I really loved and enjoyed this book. I really loved the story line and how both Cam and Makayla were both trying to start over and find them selves. They found each other in the process which is just way better. I was hooked from the moment I opened this book, this is the first book I have read by the author and I absolutely loved it. I definitely can't wait to read more by her!

Heartless by Winter Renshaw Review!!

My obsession was born of innocence and good intentions, and it began the day I spotted a handwritten journal lying in the bushes outside a townhouse on Lexington Avenue. It was raining sideways that morning, and my plan was to return it the next day; safe and dry.

Only I kept it.
I kept it, and I read it.
A week later, overwhelmed with curiosity and feeling guilty for harboring secrets that didn’t belong to me, I tried to return it.
Only I wasn’t expecting to meet him.
Unapologetically heartless and enigmatically sexy, he claims he knows nothing about the journal I found outside his place, but the reticent glint in his blue-green gaze tells me otherwise.
There’s something different about him; something damaged yet magical, and I’m drawn to him; pulled into his orbit.
There’s just one problem.
The more I get to know him, the more I’m positive the journal belonged to him . . .
. . . and the more I find myself hoping, selfishly, that I’m wrong..

MY REVIEW!!
4.5 STARS!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book. I was hooked from the moment I opened the book. I loved and enjoyed the story line and really loved the chemistry the characters had together. I think this is a really good start to this series and I'm excited to see the other brother's stories play out. Really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by the author!

Sweet Cheeks by K.Bromberg Blog Tour Stop

An all new second chance love story by the New York Times Bestselling author of the beloved Driven series.

It all started with the invitation. To my ex-fiance’s new wedding.
I should have ignored it. Thrown it away. Set it afire. But I didn’t. I replied.
With a plus one.
And then my assistant accidentally mailed it.

Enter Hayes Whitley. Mega-movie star. The man who has captured the hearts of millions. But I gave him mine years ago. He was my first love. He was my everything. Right until he up and left to chase his dreams without so much as a simple goodbye. When he showed up out of the blue ten years later, I should have known to steer clear of him. I should have rejected his offer to take me to my ex’s wedding. I should have never let him kiss me.

But I didn’t.

And now we’re left wondering if the pieces of the life we once shared still fit together somehow. First
loves are hard to forget. The question is, do we want to forget? Or do we risk the chance and see what
happens next?

MY REVIEW!!
4.5 STARS!!
I really liked and enjoyed this book. It honestly din't hook me right away but as the story progressed I became hooked and great to like the story more and more. I really loved the character of Saylor (her name is pretty awesome too lol) but I loved how she really stood up for herself and did what she's always dreamed of and dint let any man stand in her way. Sweet cheeks is a really cute, romantic read and I enjoyed every minute spent reading it. This is the first book I have read by Bromberg and I definitely can't wait to read more by her! I really enjoyed her writing style and creatively.

The Sexy One by Lauren Blakely Review!!

Let me count the ways why falling into forbidden love is not my wisest move...
1. She works with me every single day.
Did I mention she's gorgeous, sweet, kind and smart?
2. She works in my home.
Playing with my five-year-old daughter. Teaching my little girl. Cooking for my princess. Which means...
3. She's the nanny.
And that makes her completely off-limits... But it doesn’t stop me from wanting her. All of her.

***
The other nannies in this city don't call him the Sexy One for nothing. My boss, the amazingly wonderful single father to the girl I take care of every day is ridiculously hot, like movie star levels with those arms, and those eyes, and that body. Not to mention, the way he dotes on his little girl melts me all over. But what really makes my knees weak are the times when his gaze lingers on me. In secret. When no one else is around.

I can't risk my job for a chance at something more... can I? But I don’t know how to resist him much longer either...

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book. This is the first book I have read by this author and I really loved her writing style and definitely can't wait to read more by her! Loved both of the characters and the chemistry they had. I loved there relationship and how it just blossomed. A really great book that kept my hooked from the very start. Can't wait to read more!

Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas Review

From New York Times Bestselling Author, Penelope Douglas, comes the latest New Adult standalone romance...

"We were perfect together. Until we met."

Misha
I can't help but smile at the lyrics in her letter. She misses me.
In fifth grade, my teacher set us up with pen pals from a different school. Thinking I was a girl, with a name like Misha, the other teacher paired me up with her student, Ryen. My teacher, believing Ryen was a boy like me, agreed.
It didn't take long for us to figure out the mistake. And in no time at all, we were arguing about everything. The best take-out pizza. Android vs. iPhone. Whether or not Eminem is the greatest rapper ever...
And that was the start. For the next seven years, it was us.
Her letters are always on black paper with silver writing. Sometimes there's one a week or three in a day, but I need them. She's the only one who keeps me on track, talks me down, and accepts everything I am.

We only had three rules. No social media, no phone numbers, no pictures. We had a good thing going. Why ruin it? Until I run across a photo of a girl online. Name's Ryen, loves Gallo's pizza, and worships her iPhone. What are the chances?
F*ck it. I need to meet her.

I just don't expect to hate what I find.

Ryen

He hasn't written in three months. Something's wrong. Did he die? Get arrested? Knowing Misha, neither would be a stretch. Without him around, I'm going crazy. I need to know someone is listening. It's my own fault. I should've gotten his phone number or picture or something.
He could be gone forever.

Or right under my nose, and I wouldn't even know it.
*Punk 57 is a stand alone New Adult romance. It is suitable for ages 18+.

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!

Misha and Ryen begin talking when they are young kids after a mix up with pen pal names. they begin a friendship that blossoms into young adulthood. After a weird chance encounter at a party and a night that changes Misha's life forever, he stops contacting Ryen. He can no longer live his life due to the awful night. Ryen however keeps writing to Misha, hoping that he his still out there somewhere. Little does she know that he is right under her nose.

I really loved and enjoyed this book. I was hooked from the moment I opened to the first page, and just got sucked in the more I read. I really always love Penelope Douglas's characters, they are always so intriguing and always keep me hooked. I love her story lines as well, there's just something about them that sucks you in and makes you want to stay. Another fantastic book and definitely can't wait to read more by the author. Definitely one of my favorite books of the year.

The Game Play by Kristen Callihan Review!!

A beard-related dare and one hot-as-hell kiss changes everything.

NFL center Ethan Dexter’s focus has always been on playing football and little else. Except when it comes to one particular woman. The lovely Fiona Mackenzie might not care about his fame, but she’s also never looked at him as anything more than one of her brother-in-law’s best friends. That ends now.

Fi doesn’t know what to make of Dex. The bearded, tattooed, mountain of man-muscle looks more like a biker than a football player. Rumor has it he’s a virgin, but she finds that hard to believe. Because from the moment he decides to turn his quiet intensity on her she’s left weak at the knees and aching to see his famous control fully unleashed.

Fi ought to guard her heart and walk away; they live vastly different lives in separate cities. And Dex is looking for a forever girl. But Dex has upped his game and is using all his considerable charm to convince Fi he's her forever man.

Game On

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!
Ethan Dexter has always loved football and nothing else but he's also always crushed on his best friends  sister in law. Fiona Mackenzie has always wondered where she is going in life. While struggling at work she decides to visit her sister but little does she know that Dex is there as well. Can this be the chance that these two need to find and fall in love.

I really loved and enjoyed this book! I think this was definitively my favorite book out of this series so far! I really loved the character of Dex, he was so charming, smart and just an overall intriguing character that I couldn't wait to learn more about. Loved the overall feel of this story and how both the characters just fit with each other. I really love how Fiona came into her own at her job and stood up for her self. Can't wait to read more by this author!

Rock's Redemption by Chiah Wilder Blog Tour Stop!!

Rock is the ripped, handsome Sergeant-At-Arms for the Insurgents MC. Being one of the club’s officers, women clamor to share his bed. The biker’s more than willing to oblige as long as it’s a short-time hookup; long-term relationship is not part of his vocabulary.
He’s only been in love once—a long time ago—and the end result was shattering. He learned his lesson: keep his heart encased in steel.
The tragic night that sent him to prison is over even though it still simmers inside him. But once he joined the Insurgents MC, he vowed to leave the past darkness and disappointments back in Louisiana. He’s embraced his new life of brotherhood, booze, easy women, and Harleys. It suits him just fine. Some things are best left alone, especially a pretty brunette who destroyed his heart.
Easy sex has become his mantra.
Until his past crashes into his life….
Clotille Boucher is the wealthy, spoiled girl who’d stolen Rock’s heart many years ago. From a young age, family loyalty was drilled into her, so when darkness engulfed her and Rock, fleeing seemed to be the only way out for her. Deciding to make a new life for herself, she didn’t count on having to pay for the sins of her brother.
Just when her life doesn’t seem like it could get worse, a face from her past gives her a glimmer of hope. Shamed that Rock has to see how far she’s fallen, she pretends her life is exactly what she wants, but his penetrating stare tells her he’s not buying her act.
Fearful that the secrets of the past will catch up with her and Rock, her inclination is to do what she does best—run away. Only problem is, Rock’s not letting her slip away so easily this time.
Can two damaged people learn to trust one another again? Will Rock be able to reconcile the demons that have plagued him since that tragic night? Does Clotille offer him redemption or destruction?
As Rock and Clotille maneuver the treacherous waters of their past and present, someone is lurking behind the shadows to make sure the truth never comes out.

MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book. Such a good and intriguing series. I have been hooked with every book right from the start. Great characters and even better story lines. I love this MC family and look forward to reading more. Each book is considered a standalone but you all know I love reading them all as they do fit together when characters appear from previous books. Can't wait to read more!
