Wild Heat by Lucy Monroe Review

Sometimes old flames are the hottest of all . . .

In the quaint little town of Cailkirn, Alaska, it's impossible to keep a secret, especially one as juicy as the unexpected return of Kitty Grant. Tack MacKinnon remembers her wild red curls and even wilder spirit—and still feels the sting from when she shattered his heart in college. But there's a pain in Kitty's gorgeous eyes that guts him to the core, and Tack is determined to do whatever it takes to see the woman he still loves smile again—even if it means taking on her demons as his own.

After fleeing an abusive ex-husband, Kitty decides that the best way to heal her broken heart is to come back home. But she gets a whole new shock when she sees how undeniably sexy Tack has become. More handsome, more muscular, more charming—more everything—he's impossible to resist. Before she knows it, they're reigniting sparks that could set the whole state of Alaska on fire. Yet trust doesn't come easy to Kitty anymore, and as things heat up between her and Tack, she can't help but wonder if one of them is going to get burned . . .

MY REVIEW!!
4 STARS!!
I really loved and enjoyed this one. I thought the story was so cute and heartwarming. I really loved the idea of old friends reuniting but they only really reunited with not the greatest reasons. Kitty has left her abusive husband and has returned to her home town to start fresh new life. Tack does not realize that kitty is coming back and after breaking his heart in college, he really doesn't want to see Kitty. I really liked this story line and the intensiveness between the two characters. Really a great start to this new hot series, I really cant wait to read the rest of this series.

Love Garage by Liz Crowe Review

A Family Saga with humor, heat and heart--not to mention beer, bourbon and basketball!

Antony Love is the quintessential responsible oldest brother of a boisterous, Italian/Irish family, placed in charge at a young age by his parents who are busy running the family business. He manages his siblings with a fair but iron hand, until his life is shattered by personal tragedy leaving him the shell of the man he once was.

When outspoken matriarch Lindsay Halloran Love becomes ill, the youngest brother Aiden shows up at Antony's garage, having dropped out of school (again), needing work and a place to crash. Antony provides both, with three caveats: "Don't smoke in my truck, don't be late for work, and don't mess with my girlfriend."

But Aiden Love, budding novelist, gets one glimpse of Rosalee Norris, young widow of Antony's lifelong best friend and all bets are off.

The Consequence of Loving Colton by Rachel Van Dyken Review

My name is Milo Caro and I have a confession to make.

I’ve been in love with Colton Mathews since I was five. He should have known that sharing a cookie with a sugar obsessed little monster would do the trick–it sealed his fate. So really, the fact that he’s sporting a black eye, a limp, almost got ran over by a car, and was nearly responsible for another person’s death? Right. HIs fault. Not mine.

I made a pact with myself–this weekend would be different. I’d come home for my brothers wedding, smile, and Colton would naturally melt into my arms, we’d get married have five kids, live in a house by the river, and get a dog named scratch (clearly I’ve thought this through).

What really happened? I punched my brother in the face, Colton kissed me and apologized, I lied about having a boyfriend, oh and everyone wants to meet the mystery man.

They say laughter always comes before insanity–ha, ha. All I wanted was my brother’s best friend…instead I’m sitting in prison.

Let this be a lesson to you all…life rarely happens the way you want it to.
Damn cookie.

MY REVIEW!!
5 STARS!!
I really really loved and enjoyed this book. This book is beyond anything good I can say about it. This book was hilarious and filled with great characters and the good kind of drama. I really loved all the characters especially Max, I just loved him to pieces, I just thought all his crazy ideas were too funny. To me all the characters just worked really well together. Rachel did an amazing job writing this story and with the characters dialogue. I would really loved to know how she came up with all the crazy funny things she made her characters do and say.

I also really loved the characters of Colton and Milo. I thought there story was so heartwarming and different from anything I have ever read. Both loved each other but were really to afraid to admit it. Colton was afraid that Milo's brother Jason wouldn't approve of there relationship and Milo was afraid Colton would reject her again. I have been a big fan of the authors for a while and have to say that this is my new favorite book by her. I really can't wait for Max's story and more of his shenanigans. If your looking for a new funny book that will keep you entertained and fall in love with. I would go with this book!

Cinderella's Cowboy by Roxanne Snopek Review

Chad Anders doesn’t know why mousy Cynthia Henley trips all over her tongue when she’s around him. Nor does he understand his undeniable attraction to this good girl. Wild and sexy is his type, like the dream-girl he caught a glimpse of years earlier he’s never forgotten.
Cynthia’s superpower is invisibility, especially with men. It’s better for everyone that way. Besides, she’s got a cat. She’s okay. But when playboy-rancher Chad hires her, she’s got a chance to shine. Professionally, at least. Until she learns of his fascination with a mysterious dream-girl, who was actually nothing more than a shy teenager on an ill-advised dare all those years ago. Cynthia knows she’s no man’s dream-girl and never will be.
But there’s magic at the ball. Princesses glow in the starlight, princes appear out of nowhere, and, sometimes, they look a lot like cowboys…

MY REVIEW
4 STARS!!

I really loved and enjoyed this book. I really loved both of the character specially Cynthia. I thought she was adorable and just a very strong, quirky women. I really din't care for her sisters, I thought they only really thought of them selves and din't care that they were letting there sister do all the work for there joint business but at the end the one sister stepped up and help. I really loved the secondary characters as well and can't wait to read more about them.

I really loved the writing style and the story line of these characters. I thought it was a great funny light read and can't wait to read more by the author.

Asa by Jay Crownover Review

Jay Crownover’s New York Times and USA Today bestsellingMarked Men series continues with the much anticipated story of southern charmer and certified criminal Asa Cross.

Starting over in Denver with a whole new circle of friends and family, Asa Cross struggles with being the man he knows everyone wants him to be and the man he knows he really is. A leopard doesn’t it change its spots and Asa has always been a predator. He doesn’t want to hurt those who love and rely on him, especially one luscious arresting cop who suddenly seems to be interested in him for far more than his penchant for breaking the law. But letting go of old habits is hard, and it’s easy to hit bottom when it’s the place you know best.

Royal Hastings is quickly learning what the bottom looks like after a tragic situation at work threatens not only her career but her partner’s life. As a woman who has only ever had a few real friends she’s trying to muddle through her confusion and devastation all alone. Except she can’t stop thinking about the sexy southern bartender she locked up. Crushing on Asa is the last thing she needs but his allure is too strong to resist. His long criminal record can only hurt her already shaky career and chasing after a guy who has no respect for the law or himself can only end in heartbreak.

A longtime criminal and a cop together just seems so wrong . . . but for Asa and Royal, being wrong together is the only right choice to make.
